40’S VERY OWN DRUMS delivers high-quality drum sounds, created by one of hip hop’s true modern innovators — Noah “40” Shebib. Every kick, clap, and hi hat is mixed to perfection and infused with 40’s signature style, giving you drum sounds that are everything from atmospheric and emotional, to crisp and hard-hitting. Lay down beats live using one of the curated kits, or draw from a range of built-in patterns. The instrument comes with easy-to-use controls, a range of creative effects, plus a dedicated “40” macro that lets you dial up the “underwater” vibe even further.

Customize your drum sounds from the Kit page. Swap other samples in and out, whilst adjusting pitch, velocity and more whilst toggling 4 insert effects.

Customize the effects chain of any preset with the Effects Editor. Quickly select from a range of powerful KONTAKT effects using the dropdown menu, or change the order via drag-and-drop.

Quickly generate grooves with a selection of 16 rhythmic patterns for every kit, which can also be edited in any DAW via MIDI drag and drop.

The dedicated Macro page lets you edit Saturation, Crush, Reverb, Delay, Tune, and Level controls, all in one place, plus you can use the 40 and Mix Up controls to give the sounds even more of 40’s unique character.
