LFOevent to External
Macro for sending an LFO (via AtoE Perm) to an EML101 via an Echo Mona24 Laptop audio interface
DESCRIPTION
I was inspired by the thread about R5 and Volta to try this. In Reaktor, connect the audio out of an LFO, etc., to the LFO input of this macro, then to the virtual output of your audio interface. Next, physically connect the same audio interface's output to an ext. (event/CV) input of an analog synth or module and see if it works.
I used this with R5 stand alone (No Volta) and an Echo Audio Mona24 Laptop audio interface, into an EML101 (Osc1 ext in or Filter ext in). It worked!
Btw, you won't want to send this signal from Reaktor to your speakers. Send it to the analog gear, and listen to the analog gear via your speakers/ headphones. The max output of this macro
is .02. Otherwise you will be overdriving your audio interface quite a bit. (As you can see from the pic, even at .02 it still occasionally overdrives the output)
*Note that this was created in a much larger ensemble. That is why the pic shows a CPU load of 30%.
