Welcome to SWAY
Welcome to the Play Series SWAY online manual. Read this user guide and learn about the main controls and workflows to get started making music.
SWAY captures the soulful, gritty sound of old-school hip hop. Built on samples from the genre's distinctive pianos, guitars, synths, and bells, which were subsequently processed with original, analog gear, SWAY delivers a grainy, filtered vibe across dozens of melodic presets. SWAY was created in collaboration with Emeric Zubar a.k.a. BLAKE.
As with all Play Series instruments, SWAY aims to balance intuitive, performance-focused control with nuanced sound design. The macros offer quick and dynamic control over the synth engine, enabling you to effortlessly shape presets and customize your own sounds. For those who wish to go deeper in sound design, you will find powerful sound editing tools and custom effects chains that offer further control and inspiration. SWAY also contains an analog-style sequencer that can produce chords, arpeggios and melodic, rhythmical patterns. Ultimately, these tools aim to empower you in your own sound creation!
In this user manual, you will learn about the main controls and workflows to get started making music.
We hope you enjoy this instrument!
