DESCRIPTION

Bard is an adventurous gate delay and CV generator. Feed it some gates and use the rhythm control to create interesting sequences.

The delay time is determined by analyzing the tempo of the input gates. Adding some swing to your clock source can result in pleasant variations. The reset input can be used to tighten up a sequence or to achieve different time signatures.

The CV output range can be altered using the low and high controls, and the offset parameter can be used to change the overall tuning. A quantizer is provided to limit the output to certain notes.

Update 3 adds mute buttons for each step. These mute output gates, and also prevent gates from the output of the gate delay from advancing the sequencer. The sequencer will still advance from gates at the gate input as normal.

I love the mute buttons. This is a fantastic sequencer! I can't imagine how you came up with it.

That's good to know, Paule. Greg you can use the factory library's midi output block for that.

This is fantastic and yields such varied and differentiated results! Is there an easy way to get MIDI out to play other instruments?

Really low on CPU. On my HP workstation 2.4% only. This machine is slower than the one before. Thanks Brett.
