Basically .ws6 is just a 16bit mono .wav file without header. Important thing is that script automatically calculates series of downsampled versions down to 2 samples with absurd precision (filter window = sinc impulse with length of a table for tables longer then 128 samples, and length 128 for shorter ones). This cannot be practically done in real time and it is needed for a high quality wave table oscillator, so here it is.

I use the commercial product „Awave Studio“ since years. It reads the .WS6 file very well and can save it as .wav file.
