Seq-4
SAM-16's Natural Habitat
DESCRIPTION
Originally created by me as a simple means of quickly testing various samples, Seq-4 has since grown 400% to be used as a free-for-all sample sandbox with the ability to add over 60 one-shots and quickly make patterns/beats.
Built by Colugo_, SAM-16 is the true heart of this generator, allowing for the ability to morph between any two samples at ease. This blocks patch has stolen many hours of my time, and I hope it does the same to you.
Included are only two snapshots: INIT, and Ready for Random
They should be pretty self-explanatory :')
V.1.1 (2019/01/16) Hotfix
-FIXED: Gate not always being 1 when triggered and instead taking on the velocity value
-FIXED: When velocity is set to 0 on a step, the sample will be completely audible
Below are various details about functionality:
The MASTER CLOCK feeds it's GATE and RESET to both DIVIDERS. However the DIVIDERS have separate endpoints.
The CLOCK DIVIDER takes the MASTER CLOCK GATE, and uses it to drive the sequencers, with the last two outputs 5 & 6 being used as timing for the MODS.
The RESET DIVIDER takes the MASTER CLOCK GATE, and uses it to drive the sequencers, with the last two outputs 5 & 6 being used as RESET for the MODS.
Enabling the MASTER CLOCK's RESET will reset both DIVIDERS, this can be used as a means to limit pattern length.
You want to keep sequencer VELOCITY knob turned fully clockwise or else it won't be scaled to be able to trigger all the samples of SAM.
For all 4 SAM's the appropriate sequencer's outputs are as such:
Sequencer PITCH out -> SAM PITCH in
Sequencer GATE out -> SAM GATE in
Sequencer VELOCITY out -> SAM SAMPLE in
