Goydo, snapshots are reading in ensembles and/ or instruments. Snapshot alone can't produce any tone. If all users read the manual carefully NI soft is wonderful to realize sounddesign.

This are not valid Reaktor files and working with NI software is always pain in the ass. I bought several NI products and they all sounds well, but it is never fun to use them. If NI would produce cars, the steering wheel would be in the trunk.

Left side in the upper browser of snapshots (tab is 3 horizontal lines) right click on an entry. Via context menue 'New Bank' and 'Load Bank' on this new bank with right click. Choice in the opening browser the bank you want to load. Add another one: first create 'New Bank' or the other will overwrite without warning!

So much nicer having all the snaps, and organized in categorical banks no less!

Click on Embedded and a right click on Bank 1. There is a context menue. Choose 'load bank'. For the next bank right click on bank pick new bank and load the next one etcpp.

Hi Paule, I own Form, I am trying to get Form to use snapshots rather than presets. I Just don't know what to do with the .ssf files in your package. There is no mention of how to use external .ssf files in either the Form or the Reaktor Getting started manuals. Could you give me some basic instructions?

David, you have to own FORM by NI. It's a commercial product. Load in snapshots in an ensemble? Check the pdf manual REAKTOR Getting Started English page 56.

Newbie question, where am I placing these files to get the default snapshots menu to see them?

Yes, thanks for doing this. I was just moaning about how I had to go thru this process of saving Form presets to snapshot banks as I use program change heavily and presets cannot be triggered with program change. So now I don't have to do this myself. Tho I see now that it is not possible to store more than three banks of presets without having to dive back into your computer files to load a bank you might want to use. You have to go through the process of reloading another bank which of course replaces one of the banks you have in your snapshots. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but the new system is a total nightmare for me. Thanks for making it easier for us.

Thanks for doing this, I had a little trouble trying to figure out why the snapshots wouldn't show up after exiting Reaktor and re-opening it. Then it dawned on me and I saved everything as a New Ensemble and now it works great.

Ditto, Jim; this was very generous of you, Paule, much appreciated! Loving Form so far, but HATING 6.03 and this whole snaps aren't REALLY broken, just don't work as years of practice have trained me to expect. No doubt I'll get used to it all and come to have nothing but gratitude for the fact that the panel can finally be expanded to reveal longer names, but for now, it's feeling like NI have delivered a nice new present with a bunch of sharp edges hidden all over it which are now drawing blood:(

Yes, choice a snaps is very easier than load a preset.

Thanks for taking the time to merge all these into a set of snapshots.
