DESCRIPTION

Glide from a selectable snapshot through a definable number of snapshots.
[Base] is the snapshot number at the minimum of the [Morph] slider.
[#Snaps] is the total number of snapshots the morph slider glides through, including the [Base].
[Morph] can be changed to a knob or other slider variant at:
Properties > View > Style > Type
Place the "Snapshot Morpher.mdl" (macro) inside an instrument to make use of it. Unfortunately, it won't apply to all instruments, only ones with snapshot support.

Included in the download is an ensemble which demonstrates its function.
• Open the ensemble
• Open the Snapshots browser in the side pane
• Adjust [Morph] and watch the travel through snapshots, in the browser and the morphing of knobs.

There is a quirk, whereby, at the crossing of snapshots with [Morph] a twitch in values occurs. This happens at a tiny discrete value and may not always occur. It is the result of the [Snap] module requiring 2 serial events to redefine its inputs A and B. (If only those inputs accepted Snap assignments simultaneously… sigh).

Simon Klapper's "Multiple Snapshot Fader" is further developed than this one.

Nevertheless, it was an exercise worth losing sleep over.

I'm experimenting with this now on block ensembles. So far, it works wonderfully. I can have separate morphs for an OSC block and a filter block by using two snapshot morphers. Thank you again!

This is wonderful and opens up many possibilities. Thank you! Is there any way to insert several of these within multiple parts of an instrument, say the oscillator section and the filter section and have the snapshot morphs only affect the immediately surrounding section? Right now, when I install within a subsection of a synth, it still affects the entire synth.

One thing I did want to ask is if the morph value dial could be id'd so that it shows up in a host to be automated. Maybe it already is but my host doesn't see it (Bitwig 2.0)

I'm using this with regular Prism now and its astounding. Kinda become a cornerstone for me in starting to develop sounds for my songs. May be the most useful tool I've come across. Thanks again!!

Thanks Greg :) Glad to hear you're enjoying it. On your recommendation i downloaded Mikroprism and am enjoying it. Building a bank, based on the bundled bank, with the [Decay] increased lends itself well to the Morpher. There's a loud burst at the snapshot crossover points though :S
