CYBER-RIFF MACHINE 1.1
40 cyber riffz + looper
DESCRIPTION
Thraaaash Metal!!! an improved version with 40 new 90 bpm cyber riffz included in the zip.
Slightly heavier guitar sound... and a freq shift added in on a seperate channel in the mixer which can be used to thicken the sound and create effects.
the riff sampler features...
+ the riffz can be modified in speed in the sampler, and fm etc, or played from midi.
+ the A mod is on the Bento LFO Synced Mod
+ the FM source is a wavetable and can be used to create additional effects
+ there is a gate loop which can loop the first 16th eight, quarter etc... of the riff
+ the riffz are ready distorted, but there is driver to sculpt the tone a bit or push to 11!
+ the riffz are at 90 bpm
+ 5% cpu!
INSTRUCTIONS
The riffz are now saved as presets so they don't need loaded... just locate the cyber riffz folder and save the ensemble.
Presets 1 - 40 are the riffs raw unprocessed
After there are a few examples of how the mods and the frq shifter can be used to make new riffs... but theres only a few, it up to you all to explore.
* one glitch... as you switch from one preset to another the sampler needs a bar to catch up with the new riff loop so it will play slow or fast for a few seconds.
HINTS:
try setting up some metal or industrial type beats at 45, 90 or 180 bpm and running it... record the output.
- to play the pitch of the riff from a midi keyboard - it must be set to KEYBOARD not FREE or the notes won't trigger.
- any sample pack can be used so, its not just a guitar machine.. try out some of the recent R6 sound packs.
- or alternately the samples can also be used in other loopers/mashers
Much thanks to Michael Hetrick's Block Sampler and the fm source + frq shifter.
