Reaktor 6

DESCRIPTION

Update 1.1: Added a manual gate to the panel (this can be triggered via automation). Corrected parameter labeling. Changed internal clock to run at sampling rate (instead of control rate). It can now be used to manually create two noise sources.

Another Block in Michael Hetrick's "Euro Reakt" series.

This Block will help you add some chance to your compositions and rhythms.

A GATE input will be routed to either OUT 1 or OUT 2, depending on probability determined by the PROB knob. Full counter-clockwise means that OUT 1 will always be active, while full clockwise means that OUT 2 will always be active. In the middle, the GATE will have about an equal chance of going to either output (Never both simultaneously). Please be aware that 50/50 does not mean that the gates will alternate! It simply means that they will *roughly* be active for equal amounts of time.

There are two modes: GATE or HOLD. In GATE mode, the length of time that OUT 1 and OUT 2 will be held high is the same as the length of the incoming gate. In HOLD mode, each output is held high until the other goes high. In addition to OUT 1 and OUT 2, there are dedicated TRIG outputs, which fire an impulse always, regardless of the mode that the Block is in.

An example Ensemble is included, and shows how a slow LFO can be used to control the distribution of percussive blips across the stereo field.
