I have an unusual request charles...... you have a nice amount of comments here giving you respect for your work. But from over a thousand downloads only one slightly critical comment. Is there any chance i could ask you to be your own critical demon and give us your own opinion about the spider, being as critical as possible?

Oops - sorry: mentioning PM referred to the rate knob that has 'PM Rate' as info text. I guess that is related to the PM knob (which is Phase Mod)? Confusingly, it's at the same row as the Pitch Rate and Depth knobs... However, you get the idea - I just don't like to have to guess too much ;o)

Nice GUI, very well laid out! Extensive set of presets, and loads of controls. My only 'complaint' would be that the knob info (tooltips) are rather cryptic - what does PM mean? Phase / pulse / pitch?! I'd really like to see a bit more indepth info on which knob does what, what sources are actually used for modulation, etc. Stuff like 'Pitch Depth' I've never heard of ;o) Other than that: very nice upload. Thanks for sharing!!

If there's *one* single thing I'd consider adding to this, it would be a low-cut filter at the Master output. Again, Superb upload, and one that's going in my permanent arsenal. Gratis, D

I really enjoyed this. With some additional automation within Logic it made for some truly unique 'webs' ;-). Triggering the snap module's 'random' (thanks Mr. Scott) set to '1' every couple of beats generated slow, evolving textures. Rick's 'Randomation', also set to very small amounts sent to key parameters (like "Rates' also kept things 'linear'. I got so entranced I actually did 77 tracks in one sitting of it (and boy were my spinners tired!). Thanks for a great share.

Charles, This is really great. The look is amazing - love the spider web display. Cool snaps, and a wide variety too. Cool knobs. The whole package is first rate.

It's arachnoidal alright! Spider gets the full vote from me. Oh and it catches bugs too! ;-)
