Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

this small instrument is based on my recently uploaded glitchy sampler macro.
it's simple but useful for live performances.
the sample loop in the table is splitted in 16th of the samplelength and played according to the position in the "pos"-sequencer. by clicking on the sampler surface and moving around, you can modify the position and playdirecton on the fly:
-left/right changes the startposition of the slice
-up/down changes the endposition of the slice
when the start position is behind the endposition, the slice will be played reverse!
have fun!

thanks to all! @ james black: hmmm, no, not yet.... but i know what you mean, i'll try to work somethin out, maybe a kind of slice-envelope.... @ plim plim: mhh, i did'nt implement that possibility yet........ without some structural changes it's not possible at the moment, but i'll try to develop twister on, when i have some time...

fantastic! question: how can it be turned into fx? (bypass function) to read the sample "normally"...?

Joachim, awesome!!! Have you ever worked with a way to remove the clicks if you are using longer sustained material as the sound file?

Hey Joachim, I'm enjoying your uploads. The Live Sampler was one of the first things I made in Reaktor, and so there are probably some confusing things in it -- let me know if you have specific questions about it (red -at- redwierenga -dot- com). Perhaps CList's grain delay stuff would also be of assistance.

i like your uploads, but for me they would be a lot better if ypu put some information in the info pop-ups. a Live Sampling version of this would be great!
