DESCRIPTION

Synthesizer for ring modulating various signals in various ways.

Simply select a carrier from among the sine waves, other oscillators, or samples (a small sample file is included). Select a modulating signal from the same choices, use 1 or 2 sine waves at fixed pitch, or the LFO. The modulator can itself be modulated from a third selectable source.

The core sounds of this synth are made by ring modulating sines or other oscillators at natural (or, if you prefer, altered) harmonic frequencies, which can also be combined into groups for richer sounds.

The "distortion" module works by down-sampling the modulator. The resulting change of the modulator produces interesting effects, particularly at low sample rates.

Other controls for manipulating the inputs and outputs are provided -- try them out!

Small changes to the "fine" settings of the distortion module (at low "coarse" settings), the oscillator tuning, and to the "pure" setting of the sine waves, can produce significant changes in sound.

I think he meant filthy in a good way.

Patrick -- Not sure why you had speaker issues, unless the Master Level was set too high. There aren't any other gains in the instrument.
