DESCRIPTION

Here are two macros that multiplex 16 single bit inputs into one 16bit number, and de-multiplex one 16bit number into 16 single bit outputs.

When I coded these modules I did not have access to the User Library, so I didn\'t know if anything like this already exists or not. I guess that\'s what comes from coding whilst on holidays in Cairns!!

I use these as the heart of an sequencer & automation system, enabling me to record 16bit numbers into event sequencers (for say, 16 mutes, or 16 16th notes in a sequence etc etc) . It cuts down on the number of event tables that you need to implement any sort of serious sequencer or automation system.

I also use these as the encode/decode modules for my matrix based pattern generators used in the Kitten ensemble. (available here in the User Library).

Anyone who wants the entire suit of sequencers and the automated mixer will have to wait - it is not really ready for release to the public yet, and I have not finished modifying it to take advantage of Reaktor 4s wonderful new modules.

anyhoo.....cheers!
