8OSC
Subtractive oscillator bank
DESCRIPTION
The 8OSC is my first ever Reaktor Ensemble.
I designed it for playing livesets/personal use, it's a little rough around the edges at times.
It's heavily based on the youtube tutorials by Simon Hutchinson (I learned Reaktor primary with)
It features two independent 'synth engines', existing of 4 oscillators each.
These two engines can be panned separately which makes it very easy to obtain a big stereo image.
Each engine also features two filters which can be 'crossfaded', this can result in cool textural stuff while playing live.
It also features some additional effects which can shape the tone even further.
I designed some presets to showcase it's sound capabilities but I think it truly shines when it's sliders are being modulated/automated in live situations, creating ever-evolving soundscapes.
