This is a Beta Test version:

Because Maschine Plus isn’t “Officially” compatible with Reaktor User instruments, you may experience some Maschine Plus Freeze or Project restart when you erase multiple instances at the same time. (“Sound” slots with the Instrument loaded).

Uranos is a Reaktor User Instrument made for the Maschine Plus standalone .

It can also be used like a regular Reaktor instrument in any daw due to his Graphic User Interface


This issue happens on the polyphonic version of the instrument but not on the monophonic version, which is why for the moment I am only making a monophonic beta test version of the instrument available.

!!!Make sure you have made a Backup copy of your Maschine plus SD Card before testing Uranos !!!

That said, let’s have a look on the features:

Uranos is a Monophonic synthesizer (a polyphonic version is in development) with

-2 fully Controllable Oscillators with harmonic generation and saturation

-A multi-mode filter, 2 ADSR envelopes

-2 sync-able LFO’s with 13 modulation destinations eatch

-A sub oscillator

-A noise oscillator

-A post-filter overdrive

-The ability to root the keyboard mod wheel to several destinations.





But What makes this instrument standout in front of Massive , Monark or the internal synths of the Maschine Plus is the intuitive visual parameter display, a reasonable CPU load and the ability to mapp a midi controller to the synthesizer parameters directly in standalone mode.

You’ll Find at the sixth parameter page of the Maschine Plus in standalone, a MIDI mapping matrix to assign Control Changes (MIDI CC’s From CC 16 to CC 30) from a USB MIDI Controller to different parameters of the Synthesizer .



This brings the Maschine Plus to a whole new level from a Live performance point of view.



Installation path:



!!!Once again, make sure you have made a Backup copy of your Maschine plus SD Card before testing Uranos!!!



1) Download the file from the Reaktor User library



2) Extract the “Uranos Monophonic” folder to the following place on your Maschine Plus sd card :

-Native instruments

-User Content

-Reaktor



3) Restart your Maschine Plus before first use

4) Enjoy !!!
