DESCRIPTION

Hail, disciples of destruction!

It is with deep pride I present to you another DOOM array puzzle piece designed for Argent Metal and VEGACore style sound design, but versatile enough to mangle anything you put into it. After thorough research into the original circuit schematics provided by Eric Barbour on his Facebook page, I believe this effect has the very first pulser section to be uploaded to the Reaktor User Library that is accurate to how the hardware works.

But we didn't stop there, oh no. The pulser section has expanded features including two range options, a release control (which lets the pulser "sputter" out between inputs) and a level control. The VCO section has been greatly expanded too, with different sync inputs, MIDI control, variable range selection, and 4 oscillator shapes (including a pulse width control!).

The preamp section is based on the 6BK5 tube emulation from the Metasonix TM-7 module by Trevor Galivan, and the filter section is a modified (stereo!) Vodka Filter originally by Matthew Freidrichs with GUI additions by Brice Beasley.

Also included are a dedicated envelope follower that can send CV to the rest of the unit (and be routed externally), three additional CV inputs for external control, MIDI input for VCO pitch and filter keytracking, and more. This thing is best experimented with than understood, of course.

Prepare yourself to reach further regions of sonic experience with the Anal Fissure Generator!

@ Laurence Ketchin - Yes, that is in the works, but I haven't had much time to update things in the last few weeks. Planned updates include a new and improved GUI (this was thrown together rather quickly), a .ens file, and maybe some additional controls in the preamp section. I tried not to make it too complex but I love adding knobs to things.

Very nice. Any possibility of an upload as an .ens file?
