DESCRIPTION

Here's a snapshots panel, similar to the one in the Nano Pack, that you can add to any block.

To add the panel to a block:

1. Copy and paste the ‘Snapshots’ and ‘Show Snapshots’ macros from the Bento Oscillator into the 'Panel' macro of your block (you may need to adjust the padding settings in BORDERS in the VIEW tab, if the block has these set to a value greater than zero, or you may see a gap at the bottom of the block).
2. Connect the outputs of all the controls to the merge module, where it says "Connect output of each control to here"
3. Connect the ‘IC Send’ modules where it says “Connect these FROM the block's controls” to each of the block’s controls using the Connect tab
4. Connect the ‘IC Send’ modules where it says “Connect these FROM the block's controls” from each of the block’s controls
5. Set the default value for each control next to where it says “Set the default values for the controls”

There's also a global 'Snapshots' block included that will control all of the blocks in a rack.

Hi Willie, The Bento 8-Step block doesn't use the regular Reaktor knobs, it uses custom sliders using mouse areas instead. There's no way to connect the IC sends to the mouse area and so it will be difficult to patch this up to that particular block.

I did find the snapshot panel where there are "open" and "close" modules. I clicked the "open" and found the "connect these FROM the blocks controls". I clicked on the IC Sends on the Storage modules and I set them to visible, but I'm not sure what to do from there. I clicked on the "To" in the Connect tab, and it lights up/flashes, but there is nothing in the menu that comes up.

Thanks David! This block really expands the capabilities of all blocks. I tried to do this with the Bento 8-Step, but I got lost in the process. It was beyond my abilities I think. I made it all the way up to steps 3 and 4 but I got lost after that. I just tried to copy and paste things the way you had it in the Bento OSC, but I couldn't make it beyond that point.
