INTRODUCTION

When I set about making v3, my intention was for it to be completely patchable with full complex presets but the initial versions of Reaktor 6 had limitations that made this impossible. Following the release of 6.4, I spent several months additional work, testing, rebuilding old example patches, converting and GUI skinning of additional elements.

I decided to rename all the blocks with their full names as with only numbers for the modules, it was too difficult to remember which one was which to drag and drop into the patch.

Beta testing: The new scale module has not been fully tested. Please use at own risk! It uses a stolen macro from another Reaktor library ensemble and unfortunately, I can't credit the author here because I couldn't find it again. I found it by accident, copy-pasted into scale block and left it for several months before completing the work on it. If you can identify the ensemble it's from. I'll credit you or the author in the next update.

I finally have a computer to run this on and it's fantastic! I love all the built in tutorials. Thank you so much for this. Seems like the zenith of Cloudlab!

@Eric Curkendall Sorry for the delay, if you select File > New Rack. Then on the left side panel click the second icon on the left, you will see the work User. Double-click (v.important to double click) the word User and the Cloudlabs folder should appear, click on that, and all the default racks ready for patching and demo racks should appear. If not, go through the installation instructions and check the files are in the correct folders. Thanks. Hope that helps. And apologies if I have misunderstood your problem.

Thank you very much anyway I don't mean to sound unappreciative, seems something has happened to tthe file an I though the creator should know. I totally et why a racks version of this incredible ensemble would be so great. Of course i can put it together module by module, still it doesn't make any sense to me though and I need to see how rthis works, especially the output module, it doesn't have an output so there is no sound and I have to go direct to the blocks output. Seems kind of a waste to do things that way, a waste of the Buchla out put mixing etc that can be done, but there appears no way to et sound out if you put it in.

The cloudlab rack folder now contains no rack files or anything, my computer says zero bytes and Reaktor does not open the folder either.

Thanks for this version, i have only just discovered this and the orginal. both are great. however just a couple of things i've found, in the utility Module the gate and pitch+pb output are swapped. not a huge issue once you know. the second thin is the Quadrate function in the quadaction Generator does not seem to function correctly, it was the same in the original version 3 as well. the Attack and decay stages of the ADSR work ok but D and S do not work it just introduces a hi frequency oscillation in the sustain. not sure if this is a known bug or me doing something wrong. but this is minor over all. I'm loving this. :-)

Hey! Thank you for making this! all of you, people involved in this. Is really impressive. Really in love with the possibilities of this system. I was wondering if you're working on updating it, or add modules (like time domain processor). Again, thank you! very generous!

Thank you so much for sharing this work! I didn't see the Rack sets straight away after selecting File -> New Rack. I had to right-click in the ensemble area and select Browse Racks from the menu to switch to the User presets list in the browser.

Are there any tutorials, or a manual for this? Anything for a beginner?

This thing makes gorgeous sounds. And ugly ones too. Totally awesome! What a generous gift to the world the people who made this have given!

Bam. The "old" Cloudlab v3 was already my all time favorite patchable Reaktor Ens ... this just came as a total surprise :)

This is great Trevor & Jason. This is how it should be working in the Blocks framework. Very nicely done. Thank you. :)

Hi agi12358, yes, Cloudlabs has always been a CPU hog. Unfortunately, refactoring all the modules to Reaktorcore was too time-intensive and quite frankly beyond my technical abilities! David Frappaz should take most of the credit for the UI appearance, I just rearranged the components and organised it to work nicely with separate modules. Thanks for the compliment though! You can reduce the CPU overheads by going to the Settings menu and reducing the sample rate to say 22050 Hz. Control rate should be maxed out ideally, but you can try lowering that too. Try to find a happy medium between audio quality and CPU draw to try to remove the stuttering.

aesthetically beyond beautiful! but it eats such loads of CPU, I cannot get past the simple tutorial patches without stutter and crackle.. which is sad and somewhat strange. I remember patching quite intense stuff on the latest non-blocks version of Cloudlab. my machine is 6 or 7 years old but still has pretty decent specs.. any tips? apart from that.. wonderful work truly. I really wish you could do the same with the Animal Surge enseble by Barry Galloway. ^^

This ensemble has been as challenging for me, as it is intriguing. Your sound eg's just freshly stoked the intrigue. Looking forward to taking another tilt at this in Racks format with a little less opacity and a bit more Reactor experience. Thanks!
