(If you like my work, feel free to donate to my paypal : samuelbalmasmusique@gmail.com.)

V1.2 ------------------------------------------------

- Add the new Paule's version of the Super toben sequencer, with a lot of options to randomize your patterns : A new ensemble call Niji Tracks Toben Paule's Edition. Thanks paule !!

V1.1 ------------------------------------------------

Niji Tracks :
- New individual Random function for each instrument (with the ability to bypass the random per knobs).
- Global instrument Midi channel selector in the settings page (after the cymbal selector)
- 3 new controls for the Eko section : Filter, Modulation and Noise. (Free tip : turn off the dry out, send everything at max in the eko, set the time eko at 0 with no feedback, and play with this 3 new controls (and the others of course) to find make a more old school sound !

Niji Tracks Super Toben :
- For the Super Toben sequencer : Added the huge "Paule Pandoro convs 1.3 super toben" collection in the new ensemble called Niji tracks Toben with everything inside.

Niji Tracks Light :
- The FX panel button was hidden by a multipicture. Now corrected.

V1.0 ------------------------------------------------

This instrument was originaly designed for a friend electronic music composer "Ruhbarb", who wanted to run for his performance a nice 808 style drum box in multi channel with his Midas Venice firewire console. I invited you to hear some of his track : https://soundcloud.com/user-476279591

Niji Tracks is a multi out drum synthesizer with 8 outputs, and perfectly matched with a daw setup (if you open Reaktor in multi channel mode). You can choose for each instruments and for the master/fx section which output you want to use, very usuable for composing application. Each instrument have his own compressor (with kick sidechain), fx and eq section (with 6 routing configuration), for create the sound and the "mix" directly "in the box". Just add the final touch with your favorites plug ins in your daw.

The Niji Tracks can be also a powerfull "TR" style drum synthesizer for live : Simple interface, basic but efficient "mix" section (level mute send etc), delay reverb and dry signal controls, final drive and compression settings.

Niji Tracks is compatible with any sequencer or midi controller (you can choose the midi note for each instrument : default C1 to C2).

Enjoy !

ZIP : Niji tracks full, Niji Tracks Light (without eq and fx), a special gift, Super Toben, for sequence everything... and a small documentation for the Niji Tracks.

Note 1 : If you don't need multi output, you can delete the output 3 to 16 for save CPU !

Note 2 : The "gate" system is based on the Niji collection, it works very well with bento style sequencer or other blocks, but be carefull if you use classic sequencer (like the SQ8 from the factory library for example) or your daw sequencer : the niji tracks don't like legato note. (With two events for the kick track for example : If the first event cross the second, the second will be not triggered)... I hope try to fix this in a next update.

This sounds great thankyou ! I wonder if it might be possible to add a 'hold' stage control to the kick's parameters ? Think it would work really well , allowing much shorter "tails" without losing the punchiness at the front of the sound . Thankyou again :)

Hello. Thanks for this great instrument. However, I can not get my multiple outputs to work. Only one output is active in my DAW. Whats does peak1, peak2...refer to?

Crap; it's only working with EQ Bands 1 & 4 because they're stacked....

Ok, I made some progress. I found where there's separate controls for the same knob. Once I named them separately under the hood it's easier to understand...haven't quite grasped it completely but am getting there.

I really like this; so much that I mapped a couple controllers dynamically to all the controls in the Ensemble. That's 291 knobs, 11 toggles and 8 buttons. Since Midi is a bottleneck and can't handle this, OSC was a better option anyway since I save a lot of effort with the 'logistics' via my midi going through javascript in max. the problem is bi-directional communication. Most controls will not send OSC back when I use my controllers. All of them will send when I use the knobs on the ensemble, but I think I need all of the Internal Connections set up like Kicks 1st band EQ is. That one will send OSC back when I use my controllers and that's the one that has Internal connections. I can't figure it out though because of the redundant naming scheme (I think?) I don't know how to go from here. I don' tknow how to set up the internal connections for all the controls like the 1st band eq (Gain/Freq/Q) I'm assuming the Gains of the From & To in the Internal Connections are actually 2 different modules in the ensemble otherwise there's a conflict error? Please help. I already have all my controls mapped but no bi-directional communication! I'm ready to give a healthy donation for assistance. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I am having the same blue overlay on the Toben sequencer issue that Jan describes. I get it with both the original and Paule's edition.

Hi Jan, which version of Super Toben do you use ? the original (the Niji tracks toben.ens) or the second called Niji tracks toben paule's edition ?

thanks! works great with newscools life seq but super toben is covered by a blue layer and won't run at all, even after updating reaktor. Any suggestions?

Sam. Is it an issue in Super Toben after I've instal auto steps? (some randoms) Sometimes if I choice a snapshot with two or three empty tracks Toben fill it up. Stepping to the next snapshot and back it's vanished. A copy from my mod is in our conversation

Very cool sounds, and nicely laid out. One thing tho: If I set the MIDI input in my DAW to channel 2, the instrument doesn't seem to be able to use it. I beat my head against changing MIDI channels in the ensemble, with no luck. My MIDI keyboard has to be on channel 1.

After a few days, this keeps getting better and better. One feature which would help workflow but is probably hard to implement would be to be able to copy and paste settings for individual instruments.
