DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water effects pedal.

This is a lowpass gate that uses a Butterworth filter. The amplitude of the input signal is sent to an envelope follower, which drives the filter cutoff frequency. A random LFO is sent to a lowpass filter which modulates a single delay time, creating pitch modulation. 'Damp' controls the amount of filtering of the random signal.

The snapshots change the envelope follower settings. Check out the "B" panel to adjust that yourself.

Work in progress.

Thanks to Simon Labelle from Fairfield Circuitry for his consultation during the development of this. I recommend everyone try out the real pedal!

Fantastic, thanks very much—I was working on my own version of the Shallow Water but didn't get very far with it—can't wait to try this out!
