Reaktor 6

DESCRIPTION

FOLDS is an extreme wavefolder which folds the input along a sawtooth or pulse shape.

Despite being a really aggressive shaper, aliasing is maintained to an acceptable level using the anti-aliasing method I recently co-authored :
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/308020367_Reducing_The_Aliasing_Of_Nonlinear_Waveshaping_Using_Continuous-Time_Convolution

The GUI makes use of new GUI widgets taking advantage of latest Reaktor update and using only multipdisplays with antialised lines for the indicators in order to reduce the memory footprint and get infinitely fine knob resolution.
________________________________________________

INPUT
is an input level control.

BEND
allows to curve the input before the fold in order to compress or expand the folding cylces.

LIMIT
let you clip the input before the clip in order to limit the number of olds. The limit will make the folding end on the min/max or at 0 depeding on setting.

SHAPE
morphs between a Sawtooth and a Pulse wave.

PULSE WIDTH
shifts the phase of the main sawtooth shaper which acts as pulse width when Shape is set to the maximum (squarewave).

SMOOTH
allows to round the edges of the wavefolder.

best distortion in the library by far

Might want to put a hp /dc blocker at the end ( 4HZ HP is enough ). The pulse width outputs a dc signal . Really not so healthy when patched into other blocks /speakers

This sounds incredible! I have two minor nits to pick though--the text box of the heading overlaps the A/B buttons (I just reduced the width to 108), and I noticed the info pane for each of the controls actually refers to the level control from the LPG block. Nevertheless, excellent, excellent work!
