DESCRIPTION

A little something for Logic users (no doubt works fine in any other DAW, too) and total R noobs to maybe try doing:
After watching a Brent Kallmer YouTube (https://youtu.be/Kv6Vcjdtq2c) on how to use this old but sweet FX unit in a DAW, I tried it in Logic, but couldn't get it to keep from switching back to the built-in looper whenever a snap was changed with MIDI keys. So I opened the ensemble structure in standalone, deleted the looper, then dived down a bit and set both of the input switch settings to 1, and snap-isolated it (dunno if that was nec., or if there's an easier way, but this worked:). Now the Ensemble works great: Open Reaktor as a MIDI Controlled Plugin in Logic and load this ensemble, drag an audio file to another track and set that track as the sidechain input in Reaktor, and use C3 to C4 to change snaps, and C#3 and D#3 to activate Prev and Next…or a through k and w or e as Brent describes with the computer keys (Command k to open, then set to C3 if nec with the z or x keys).

(Did this using R6, but should presumably work fine in 5; if not please comment and I'll do it again in 5!)

Think I've heard something similar on Tom Yorke's vox on Daydreaming (last RH album)... Sounds sexy. Lets see if I can make this work in Ableton?
