I wanted to create an atmosphere first, so I chose a Heavyocity Evolve Mutations 2 pad and a choir pad in the Absynth library. They were paired with two melodies – airy Absynth and Massive synths to create a very light almost ethereal vibe. Then I used Battery with some factory samples to create the drum patterns, blended things together with the Solid Bus compressor, and finally added Heavyocity hits to give it more impact.
Biography
mobilegirl is Berlin-based, Munich-born Bao-Tran Tran – an affiliate of the Stockholm-based STAYCORE crew. Aside from making international waves as a DJ, mobilegirl is known for her reworking of R&B classics from the likes of J-Lo and TLC into intricate dance tracks with Afro-Caribbean roots.
