I found Space Drone – a drone generating synth I really liked in Reaktor, and layered it with an older Absynth patch and low frequency tones from Monark. Rhythmically, you can find some extremely confident martial finger tapping using several different Drumlab presets (snare & snap), the Damage Kontakt library, and a percussion section from the Cuba library.
Biography
M.E.S.H. has long been bringing fragmented rhythms to the dancefloor and refiguring club dynamics on records such as Share The Blame and Scythians. His debut full-length Piteous Gate on PAN Records was a bold step forward, leaving behind many of the dance-informed elements of his previous work and creating an unpredictable, sometimes frightening album of oblique, theatrical sound-stages.
