DESCRIPTION

The PQ is meant as a mastering equalizer (though it also could be a single instrument equalizer). The intention is to bring more live-dynamics into a too flat mix. It could for instance be used as one restauration tool (of several others) to freshen up bad recordings. This 9-bands parametrical stereo-equalizer makes it possible to order frequencies in the frontside depth of a stereo room by selecting the 'Room'-Knobs. With the 'Q'-knobs you can amplify this effect or choose a more precise frequency. The 'dB'-knobs have nearly the same function. By using them, you can decide between several kinds of filter-slews which the signal is running through (lowest knob position means 6dB, highest 24 dB). The 'FRQ' Button changes between two fixed frequencies (that begin at the end of the previous and end at the beginning of the next frequency amplifier). The faders are the frequency-amplifiers for the frequencies displayed above them.

Tough on the CPU, but it's 2013 and it's at an acceptable level :) Very cool plug in and really gets the right sound in certain situations. Thanks for sharing.

I couldn't see any reason why this needed to be a 6 voice polyphonic ensemble.....so I changed it to 1 voice. voila. instant cpu efficiency....

I see this as a final mastering tool, and for that, it works in spades. Excellent for spatializing a muddy mix. Kudos!

This one was built on a core 2 duo with 2*2666MHz. Sorry for users with a small CPU. I'm looking forward to make a 5 or at least 3 bands edition.

I downloaded hundreds of ensembles and this is the only one who uses 77% cpu. And it's only an EQ. Crazy!!

please admit, the name of your computer is HAL.

Using 55% cpu on my 2.8 Ghz PC. That's a lot for an eq I think.
