Reaktor 6

DESCRIPTION

Resynthesizing a sawtooth wave (or a square or triangle) via additive synthesis allows to separate the non-aliased part from the aliased part with virtual sampling rates. The 'aliasing only' part can sound a bit funny (someone in the old Reaktor forum called it 'mice toy').

I just wanted to share this exploratory thing.

version 1.1
*changed the way the basic wave form is produced to a more versatile fft based way (produce one cycle and then send it through a nonwindowed fft). so you can simulate hardsync now.
*some other changes (like the spectrometer)

this is fantastic. spent longer checking it out than way maybe necessary kinda really shows how a brick wall filter response would cause extended ringing but all in all not too different from similar experiments i've done with standard antialiasing (bleps)
now
