DESCRIPTION

I copied the Buchla Music Easel design and flow. This is not a faithful recreation however.

This synth leads to some crazy sound design, and randomizing all the parameters will yield neat results.

It's composed of these modules:
Sequencer
Envelope Generator
Ramp Generator
Modulation Oscillator
Complex Oscillator
Dual LPG
Random Source
Reverb

Love this. Buckets of character. Got a problem trying to control/automate the sequencer though - the 'steps' paramater that determines the number of steps is visible but doesn't respond. Anyone had similar issues or solutions?

This may have been made w/R5 but will only work with R6.5 and higher.

This is great. I instantly love the sound of it more than the Arturia Buchla. You mentioned randomizing the parameters. Is there a way to do that automatically without using the ez randomizer mentioned in another comment?

Gotta say - this does produce some surprisingly cool sounds on the rando! There are a couple of good Buchla or Westcoast emulations in the UL, but nobody's tackled the Easel. Until now, UL Hero! And only l.6MB ?! I hope you continue to refine this, but this first release is hella fun to mess with and makes great textural wallpaper to jam/layer over. I can't stop! Thanks!

Hey, this is interesting! Pretty small profile, so plenty of room to stack your own fx etc, throw in w/ other beasts etc. I dropped the ez randomizer in there, added an AutoGate, and the excellent fx ens Stop a Moment, all from the UL, and got lost hours in soundscape heaven. Times like these, this is the medicine. Will look forward to any updates on this. Thanks for sharing!
