DESCRIPTION

Cyan Waves is an oscillator that uses a pair of vector mixers to blend the harmonics of a sine wave. This signal is then combined with another waveform generator using ring modulation. A wave folder adds even more complexity to the output, making a wide range of sounds possible.

The original version features advanced 8x upsampling and internal filtering, but this is very heavy on the CPU. I have decided to include a "Light" version, which forgoes this processing, greatly reducing the power it consumes.

I have also included a version which is set up for front panel patching.
(This won't work in Racks mode, but can be used in Ensemble mode.)

Reaktor version 6.3 is required.

Thank you to Benjamin Poddig for the DPW waveform generator designs.

Thanks also to Michael Hetrick for the analog modeled diode ring, this effect was borrowed from the Euro Reakt series which can be found here: https://www.unfilteredaudio.com/collections/reaktor

Hi Brett, I'm thinking about putting together a free 'Community Pack' of blocks for Reaktor 6.3 Patch & Play, would you be interested in adding some of your blocks to the pack? See this thread here: https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/patch-play-community.364769/

Its sonic palette is impressive. The difference between normal and light versions is huge !

It is its first birthday, isn't ? But also a rebirth it seems... Thank you Brett.
