DESCRIPTION

--I need to preface this by saying there are some bugs, however I think they are with the Bento Box 8 Steps and the way the first sequence will sometimes not gate steps properly, as such I have no idea how to fix them. Other bugs I am aware of are the reset-trigger of the record function, as depending on the step you are on sometimes it won't restart from step 0 for recording.--

Built to easily record in your own sequences without having to manually drag each note up and down, this mod brings the ability to quickly record from a Note In, or any pitch source allowing for simple generative abilities since you can also activate the RECORD PITCH function externally. The included blocks patch shows this. (Running the Random Pitch Source in T&H makes for a fun experience seeing the pitch values change randomly until the next gate is received, compared to the S&H where it just locks the chosen pitch)

The extra inputs have proper tooltip descriptions, as well as Pitch Track has been changed to be clocked by the incoming GATE input so as to stay in time.

-FIXED the Bento Box 16 Step, there was a wire that was connected to the wrong source.
All 16 steps should record properly now.

Now also includes the same mod applied to CHEpachilo's Bento Box 16 Steps.

It seems as though the velocity is indeed working, as in both the Gate and Vel outputs of both the 8 Step and 16 Step are indeed transmitting velocity. Maybe the problem is with the sound source, I know with the Niji drums you have to enable VEL to allow for varying strength of the gate to affect the output level.

Velocity seems to not be working for me on them. At 0 vel there is silence but every other value is full (100). Any way to fix that?

@Willie Should be fixed now. I accidentally wired up the wrong source for a destination. Late Night Patching will do that to ya.

Jonathan it works up to 15 steps but if I set to 16 steps, the record pitch button shuts off and it stops. I have Util Note In pitch out to Bento pitch in and Util Note Gate out to Bento Pitch/Gate input. Was hoping to use this as a "step-note-entry" sequencer like in Trial N Error's Sirius-8 (which I tried to hack but to no avail as I'm terrible at programming.)
