Reaktor 6
VCA

DESCRIPTION

This block is a stereo gain control and is driven by MIDI breath control (CC#2).

When the (internal) breath input is 64 the output gain is fixed at 0 dB.

It has two controls, Crescendo and Decrescendo.

* The Crescendo controls the amount of gain as the breath input rises from 64 to 127 and can range up to +24 dB.

* The Decrescendo controls the amount of loss as the breath input falls from 64 to 0 and can range up to -48 dB.

There is a monitor for the breath input. The smoothing time is fixed at 5 ms and can easily be changed.

I'm new to Reaktor but not the EWI. Is there a tutorial somewhere of how to hook this up to a synth?

Chet, this is fantastically genius. I honestly believe you make the best modeled acoustic instruments of nearly any VST out there. I am extremely interested in building modeled synths for live music production, and I have some questions I’d like to ask you. Would you mind if I get in touch with you? If so, could you send me an email back at mzbabineaux@gmail.com?
