Reaktor 6
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

V1.6.1
Fixed a bug to restore stereo - thanks Claude
slightly rearranged GUI

V1.6
Added a 'per sample' pitch control
Fixed some bugs
Changed a few other internal processes to make things work better (I think)

V1.5

Added some new features
*sample selector knob
*fade time control
*controls for loop points

It's not quite as simple now, so... probably getting to the point where it should fork into new more specialist devices with features that make more sense together.

V1.4
*fixed a loop points bug (thanks Paule)
*fixed longer samples tuning stability
*added half step pitch control
*added use key metadata when available

NB. env knob on filter is bi-polar
NB. latest Reaktor version required (6.2.0)
V1.3
*Added looping functionality. If the WAV has embedded loop points, these are used, otherwise the whole sample will be looped.
*Added velocity control.
*Demo samples are now included

V1.1Added BP and HP filter options, output volume, tuning.
It's now an instrument within an ensemble (thanks Paule)

I can't find an option to embed samples in snapshots, so I guess it's just references, meaning the snaps in this upload wont work, just drag your own samples in there - that's the whole point after all :)

V1.0
Using table framework, this sampler allows samples to be dragged and dropped from your file manager directly to the sample list in the gui. The samples that have been collected will be automatically saved with the snapshot (references to them anyway)
The player uses 4 point interpolation for reasonable quality, and nice Sallen Key ZDF filters

This is an early sketch after someone requested on the forum for a nice easy to use sampler.

I haven't checked that the pitch is correct (lazy me). If not, post in the comments and I'll fix it and add a tuning knob.

Lots more features could be added, but it might lose its 'simple' appeal...

This is great but being able to see the sample getting manipulated is something I would definitely like!

Spatiality is back!

It's fun to just put vocal samples and scan through them with the select knob. I got it saying "pistachios" by randomly wiggling the knob.

This is BY FAR the best sampler on the planet, and I can attest that it plays well with blocks too. I love it. Great work Colin!

Hi Claude. Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm glad you like it. If you want to get into some discussions about features etc. It's much easier on the Reaktor forum, so start a thread there and I'll answer whatever questions you have.

I love this. I am in the process of creating an ENS with it that I plan on posting. My ONLY feature request (an excuse me if it's there and I missed it) is polyphony. A 1-8 voice selector would be nice...

@Colin, is it possible to add "loop speed" to this? So that the sample can be re-triggered independent of DAW tempo or additional midi input.

@Michael, it should be pretty easy to remotely switch between samples in the drop window. Ask on the forum - its easier to discuss things there.

Very nice, like the fact its not one sample, but a menu of samples that you can switch between in real time(had a brief look at adding a control to switch samples remotely,I think i see a way but ill need more time to analyse)..Thanks for this.

Colin, I use a part of your instrument to use my own samples in FLOWs. https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/thoughts-and-graphics-exchange.310188/page-43#post-1585012

Added looping. Can anyone with samples that have embedded loop points please test this feature and report back if it's wrong/odd/broken. Thanks.

Colin, create a folder named samples and put it in the rar file like Tim Exile done with his FLOWs.
