DESCRIPTION

Detects the transients in a sample and allows you to play back individual slices.

The transient detection algorithm isn't perfect but works ok with most samples I've thrown at it.

wow this is great! I'm having a deep look into the transient detection for my own project

I've been having a lot of fun with this block! Using a single clock input to change the sample slice was very smart. I had to pull myself away to get my latest update finished. :) If you want to add external triggers for the first 16 slices, you can use my external trigger expander for Tape Nouveau as a starting point. Adding a lot of external triggers to a block just looks unwieldy in the connection view, so an expander is the best solution.

@Lowe You could connect the Bento Box 8 Steps 'Pitch' output to the 'Slice' input for a really simple sequencer. the first slice starts at C(-2)

you can adjust the detection sensitivity by draggin on the 'threshold' setting top left

also would be wicked with manual slicing too!

would be really nice to be able to adjust the transient detection sensitivity etc

Hello Colugo! I have awesome idea to make this samples more impressive and creative! - try to implement some sort of sequencer for picking different slices! That would be epic!
